Hey Quiet Achiever

Welcome to the first issue of The A+ Introvert, your weekly guide to thriving quietly in your career.

If open offices feel like Times Square, you’re in the right place.

I’m Steven Claes, and I’m excited (and a little nervous) to start this journey with you.

Thanks for being here as we figure it out together!

Today’s Focus:

  • Quiet impact beats loud noise.

  • 5‑minute writing > 20‑slide deck.

  • Quiet confidence shapes careers.

Sound good? Grab your coffee, let’s dive in!

Why This Newsletter Exists

Being an ambitious introvert isn’t easy.

I’ve faced self-doubt, felt drained by noisy workplaces, and watched others move ahead like it was nothing.

One mantra kept me moving:

I write because I don't know what I think until I read what I say.

Does this sound like you?

Writing helped me turn overthinking into clarity and self-doubt into quiet confidence. I learned that introverts don’t need to be loud to make an impact.

That’s why I started this newsletter; to share small steps that build real confidence and success, one week at a time.

Now, let’s get into some practical tips.

The 5-Step Quiet-Power Writing Loop

Step 1 - What Happened? (≈60 sec): Write one short sentence about your day. Just the main event. This helps you remember and see things more clearly.

Step 2 - What Stood Out? (≈45 sec): Pick a moment that felt strong, good or bad. That’s your “spark.” Circle it. It shows what matters to you.

Step 3 - Why Does It Matter? (≈60 sec): Did it teach you something or change how you felt? If not, move on.

Step 4 - Seen This Before? (≈90 sec): Look back. Have you felt this way before? Patterns = growth.

Step 5 - What’s One Step? (≈45 sec): Pick one small action you can take tomorrow. Writing is powerful, but action makes it real.

Pro‑tip: Set a 5-minute timer. Stop when it rings. Done is better than perfect.
